Standardized Golf Test

ABOUT ZONE GOLF ACADEMY

Coach TJ and Coach Christa spent 2017 writing the Standardized Golf Test (SGT) which is used to identify key skill sets that are important to golf. It provides coaches, parents and players a standard to compare with players worldwide.

The key skill sets include short game, bunker game, long game, mental game, fitness, rules and etiquette. The SGT is a proven program to help players focus on their game by establishing a quantitative practice plan along with long-term and short-term goals.

The SGT creates a roadmap for a player who wants to become a competitive golfer whether it is amongst friends or at the professional level.

Collegiate Student Athletes IN the Making

The SGT started with the level system and testing copyrights. College coaches love this program because the players KNOW the rules. They are very polite and coachable. They are “students” of the game.
